Rang 4 drew amazing self-portraits and played a game of Guess Who?

We learned about ‘The Space Race’. We found the topic so interesting we did projects to learn more about space, the planets, rockets and satellites!

We were inspired by beautiful flowers and the work of Georgia O’Keeffe to create these chalk flowers.

Getting out and being active is part of our daily activity. Here we are at one of our P.E. classes

We live on Earth but there is a lot more out there in Space. We learned about Planet Earth in Space and made our own solar system.

We learned how to write our name in many different ways this year, in Braille, Chinese and in the ancient Irish way of on a ogham stone.

We enjoy learning about how things work. We also like to design and make things. We decided to design and make a raft. We gathered our thoughts about what materials would sink or float.

We in fourth class heard about Chinese New Year. We had to find out more and learn about the country.

Red is an lucky colour in China. Chinese writing is very different to the the way we write. We decided to try to write using Chinese letters. This is what our names look like!

We learned about Japan. Japan is famous for cherry blossom trees. The beautiful pink blossom inspires a lot of Japanese art. We were also inspired to paint. Here are our creations.

We went African drumming and had great fun!

We worked together and had great fun trying to make a Rube Goldberg Machine.
